Turmoil of overflowing feelings: Guilt, pain, loss, desperation… And can't even cry, must keep battling and fighting until the end of the war…
It hurts so badly, in here, in my heart. Like an ache that won't heal…
Until I've been saved.
I won't ever forget, the day when I woke up, hurting all over from the fact that I killed my best friend… And she was there.
There for me, letting me cry… With her soft voice and gentle hands, so understanding…
Those days with her, before I had to go back, were so peaceful. I wanted to stay there forever, see her every single day, and hear her beautiful voice… Because whenever I'm with her… My soul's at rest and everything seems alright. Such a peaceful, happy feeling, whenever I'm around her. Couldn't name it then, was too scared, maybe. Or was probably just in denial.
I don't know.
But, I can't deny it anymore. That girl, Lacus Clyne, means everything to me. I need her, to see her smile at me, her touch of kindness… Would do anything to protect her, protect that smiling face. And I know for sure, that I want to be with her forever.
That's why I go up to her and say, "I love you."
And, just like her, Lacus smiles, takes my hand, and says, "I'm so glad."
