Prologue to a Legend

What happens to a person, when he's not needed? Forgotten about… After many trails and tribulations… putting his life in jeopardy, to save lives which not of his own… but unselfishly of others. Begging for his aid, in a desperate time of need, the land of Hyrule sought his help. Agony, pain, and destruction, all darkened the land of Hyrule, by a mad man, an evil man, a malevolent beast of a man, Ganondorf… What could rid the violent curse that reigned upon this sacred land? Nothing… nothing normal though… not the strongest of men, nor the smartest, but a little boy with abnormally long ears. What it took from him to take upon the task was courage, what he showed large amounts of, his name was Link…

He took the task, traveled the land of danger, and almost certain death to any fool who looked upon its secrets and stories… He defeated and surpassed anything obstacle that stood in his way… 7 years of his life… spent to save the land of Hyrule. Finally, with the battle atop the highest tower on the castle of Ganondorf himself, Link ridded the world of the wizard, and cast him in the sacred realm… but not forever…

The land of Hyrule was now safe, people came out of there homes, to celebrate the victory of the newly renowned Hero of Time. But what became of him after? No one really needed him anymore. People soon forgot about the hero, what he did for the land and the people. They had moved on, never to think of the long-eared boy again. When a person is not needed, he does not nearly stay, because when you're forgotten, you disappear. As if you never existed. Link had left the land of Hyrule, the one that had banished him from there hearts and minds, he was simple a myth. But what were to happen if they ever so needed the hero of time once again?

"You're Highness! We cannot find him; no word of the hero of time has been received." Yelled a disappointed solider in the courtyard of the Large Castle.
"What do you mean? A man does not simply disappear? Keep looking!" yelled the mightiness of the King of red lions himself.

"Sir... We've looked everywhere, no word of him anywhere." Said the scared solider.
"IF YOU DON'T FIND HIM I'LL--

"FATHER!" interrupted the fierce anger of the King's rap. "Threatening the man will not help. SOLIDER!" said sternly with the elegant voice of the princess of Hyrule, Zelda.
"Yes?" mumbled the solider.

"I want you took look in the deepest crater on Death Mountain, the longest valley in the Guerdo Dessert, The farthest isle on Lake Hyrule, The darkest forest in the Lost Woods. I want you to find him any means necessary. We need him!" said the princess in a serious order.
-Where are you Link? - thought the princess in the depts. of her mind.
