You don't have to pretend to be strong for me, I've done that for too many years and I know the pain that it causes.
I left to protect you because you wouldn't have allowed it any other way and here you are now trying to save me. Just let me do what I want to, I don't need your protection. You're still so young, I couldn't ask you for it.
But still silently I'm pleading, begging, for you to protect me, for you to wrap your arms around me and hold me close and tell me that nothing will get me. I want you to make all of this disappear. My death will solve many problems, a shikigami should not feel this, one should not rely on protection but still why… why can't I shake this feeling of needing you?
