Authors' notes:
Sphinxaire: Ok, it was written by me but Tumblepatch assisted. In fact she did most of the talking, I typed.
Tumblepatch: Anyway, enjoy these two corney love letters exchanged between 'Munkypoo' and 'Jellybean'.
Sphinxaire: If you don't like these letters, don't blame us.
Tumblepatch: Yeah Pouncival passed them on to us - If you don't like these letters, go kill Pounce or the writers.
Warning: Soppy, corny slightly dodgy stuff! Be disturbed, be very disturbed!
Dear Munkypoo,
Last night I dreamt about you and woke realising how long it has been since I've seen you. To many other cats four hours may not seem very long, but to me it's like a lifetime, a great gaping canyon in time! How I miss the feel of your soft fur beneath my claws. How I miss gazing lovingly into your misty blue eyes and I yearn once more to snuggle up to your soft white chest.
The kittens were driving me crazy last night and I was so tempted to whack Etcetera round the head, but I knew it would not be what you wanted so I calmed my temper and dreamed of the morning when I'll finally see you again.
I've sent this message with Victoria as I believe her to be the most competent. I could not have sent Etcetera as I knew she would have been sidetracked at the faintest whiff of your air headed brother. Who does that fluffy brat think he is anyway?
I long to see you again but I guess I must wait. Farewell for now… gorgeous!
From your Jellykins.
To my little Jellybean,
I'm ever so sorry to break your heart but only last night Bomba asked, no begged me to rescue her innocent sister from the cruel clutches of Macavity. Well, she wasn't exactly innocent as such as Macavity had already had his way with her, but we clicked anyway. Until that moment I had never noticed how beautiful Demi was, the depth of emotion displayed in her twinkling blue eyes. How I longed to hold her young supple body against my own, to protect her from all she had previously feared – but she would not let me. For Macavity had given her cause to fear all males. I'm sure my charm will win her over in the long run but for now I must give you up to focus on this beauty whom I feel the need to protect.
Farewell for ever, my Cream Delight.
Love your ex-Silver Tabby Knight.
Tumblepatch: Yay! Our first shared story online! Miaow!
