Together

Both were alone

Because of what

Many saw in them

One was a hero

Worshipped and adored

Since he was a babe

He was unwillingly thrust

Into the spotlight

Time and time again

He had to shoulder

The weight of the world

For that was his duty

The other was seen

As a terrifying monster

From the time he was young

Circumstances beyond control

Change him into a beast

Once a lunar month

He's had to deal

With scorn and ridicule

Despite his kind nature

Both lonely souls found

Solace and peace

Beside one another

Yet despite the fact

They need one another

And are happy together

Society frowns upon

The soul mates' bond

And hate more and more

But the two are happy

Both the "hero" and "monster"

Love one another

And one day they

Shall find peace together

Away from society's bigotry
