"Mark wake up."

He had only half-registered the voice that was calling to him. It sounded familiar, a bit urgent too. Raising one weary eyelid, he squinting at the vaguely Roger-esque shape in front of him.

"Mark, c'mon get up!"

Yes it was Roger who was trying to wake him up. Mark rolled onto his side, curling up and drawing the covers over his head. It was early, he had nowhere to go, and nothing was going to get him to move.

"I'm counting to three, then I'm getting the water."

All talk and no action, he was sure of it. Roger would get like this on occasion, he would come in there, poke and prod Mark until he got up, then had him listen to a song, sometimes not even that.

"I'm serious Mark, I'm gonna go get it."

Mark mumbled something unintellageble befure nestling against the wall. He didn't care what Roger was going to do, it was too fucking early and he had no right coming in here and trying to get him to do a damned thing anyway.

Something cold was dripping on his face...

"Holy fuck!"

Mark hurled himself out from the bed, falling to the ground as a tangled mess of limbs and blankets. He flailed around for a few moments, wiping furiously at his face, then glaring daggers in his roomate's general direction.

"Oh nice to see you're awake, can you go get us coffee? We're out and you know where to buy the good stuff."

Groping around for a moment, the blonde shoved his glasses on his face, then stared at the clock. According to it the time was 3:51 in the morning.

"...Please?"

Mark silently reviewed what had just happened to him. Roger woke him up at 3:51 in the morning, using freezing cold water, to go get him coffee. For a moment, all he could think of was that Roger had gone absolutely mad, and was trying to drag him along for the ride. Then he realized that even though his friend might be insane, Mark still had no reason to be up this early.

Snatching the glass of water from the other, Mark turned it upside down, effectively soaking the musician.

"I am going to your room. You are not getting coffee from me, and if you plan to sleep in there yourself, put something dry on."

With that Mark left the room, dragging his blankets with him, and knowing that in their own special way they had just proclaimed their love for each other.
