Here is a new story about Jaime and Mina. This story is dedicated to Moontearz.

Chapter 1: School Break

Mina walked over to her bed as she gripped several clothes in her hands. After tossing the last white t-shirt into the open suitcase that lay on her bed, she let out a sigh. "Jaime, I'm so happy that we're going to take this trip to Spain! You're such a romantic."

From another room, Jaime called back to her "Yeah I know. I think we both deserve a rest don't you?"

Wearing a white surfer t-shirt along with blue shorts, Jaime zipped up his suitcase and plopped it up on the bed next to Mina's. "Hopefully this time, there'll be no vampires or fighting competitions or ghoul or anything like that." he said. Mina chuckled in agreement.

Being a Nephilim (a cross between human and angel) wasn't easy. As a self-appointed hero, Jaime had lots of crime fighting to do. He used to be alone, but once her met Mina, he knew things would be different.

Tying his long blonde hair into a ponytail, Jaime pulled out the two plane tickets. He knew that he needed a break, since both he and Mina had just finished participating in the latest King Of Iron Fist Tournament. Unfortunately, both were defeated midway. Surprisingly, Mina had gotten farther than Jaime by one round. Then again, never doubt the power of a woman.

Mina stood wearing a black spaghetti strap top with black capris, her black and red-streaked hair hanging down her shoulders. With one hand on her hip and the other on her chin, she asked "Jaime, what it-"

"Don't worry" Jaime interrupted, "We'll be back in time for the second semester. Jeez, you take college life so seriously."

"Well, my view is better than yours!" Mina exclaimed. "You'll be lucky to even finish this first year." With that, she giggled. After throwing his girlfriend a look of death, Jaime seemed to think of something. Seeing her boyfriend begin to trail off, Mina stood in front of him with her arms crossed. "Jaime Parker! We are not patrolling tonight so don't even wonder."

"Okay, okay. Just had a last minute thought, that's all. Besides, we should be leaving for the airport now anyways." said Jaime as he picked up his belongings. Mina smiled as she zipped up her suitcase and grabbed her favorite red wind breaker jacket. "Do we have everything?" she asked as she looked around. Jaime nodded, reassuring her as she picked up her suitcase and shoved it into his hands. With a sigh from Jaime and a chuckle from Mina, the two were off. Hopefully, this would be the best vacation yet.
