Story 1: 'The One Who See Souls And Runs From The Sun'
Chapter 1: -In the Snow we walk-(Introduction)
Ed: (shivers) … "This has to be the worst mission he could think of… For now. Grrr…"
Al: "Now brother, you shouldn't think such things. I'm sure its just all a misunderstanding. Heh heh."
Ed: "Yeah well if I know Mustang he did this on purpose! He's probably sitting at his desk right now sipping his coffee, laughing at us! I hope he burns his tongue!" … (Mumble mumble)
Narrator (me): Back at headquarters, Mustang was in fact sipping his coffee. BUT! He was not laughing as Ed thought he was. For he was far to busy trying to tune out Detective Hughes' ramblings, whom was once again bragging about his daughter.
Back to Ed + Al:
Ed: "'Go to the Far North!' he said! 'Oh you won't need any transportation, it's only a little ways up! Ho ho, but you might want to bring a jacket. It's a bit chilly there…' GRRR! I swear… I'll get him one of these days… (plots evily) Ah-Choo! (Sniff sniff) ug… Grrr! MUSTANG!"
Back at headquarters:
Mustang: "Huh?"
Hughes: "Oh. What is it lieutenant?"
Mustang: "Oh, uh. I thought I heard something. (Glare) Even over you…"
Hughes: "Huh? Oh well anyways, blah blah…"
Mustang: Ug… (glomp) Why me?"… (Sigh)
Back to Ed + Al:
Al: "But still. He sent us on a 'mission'. We still have to investigate."
Ed: "Oh yeah… right. The mystery central hasn't been able to solve for three years…Heh. And they call themselves alchemist."
Al: "Brother." (glare)
Ed: Yeah, yeah. I know. Looks like we'll have to save the day again, eh? Even in all this snow…"
Al: (sigh) …
A long silence has befallen the two brothers as they trudge through the snow. Five minutes pass and neither has said a word. Edward's hair shadows his face as he walks hunched over with his arms crossed, shivering. Al stares at him in concern. Then Ed suddenly stops, startling Al whom also stops.
Ed: "… Say Al…"
Al: "Yes brother?"
Ed: "Do you… Do you think she would have felt colder if… if she died in the snow?"
Al: "Uh… I don't know brother… I couldn't really tell you now… I mean-"
-Ed cuts off Al-
Ed: (clenches fist) "-Its okay Al… It was just a thought……... Hahahaha! Nothing to worry about! (smile) See?"
Al thinks: "Brother…"
Al: "So, um… What do we do now brother?"
Ed: "Well for starters! Lets get out of the snow before I turn into an Ed-sickle!"
-Al searches the horizon for any lights or movement.-
Al: "Oh! Um… There's a town just up ahead."
Ed: "Then what are we waiting for! Lets go!"
(-The theme song begins-)
