My journey will be long. I don't know where my path is, and I don't know what I'll encounter along the way. All I know is that I have to find him. I have fulfilled my dream and my purpose awaits me. His life, the innocent and pure soul that used to reside in him, is now held captive, and waiting to be rescued. With no light to lead the way, I set off on my journey. No light can penetrate the dark I must wade through to find him. My loyal first mate, I'm coming. Please don't give up hope.

It has been days, or so it seems. There is no time here, as I figured imminently. It's unnaturally warm with a cold wind blowing hard. It comes from nearly all directions, and it stings me. I do not have a body, but I have an appearance. The wind speaks to me. It tells me to go back, but I won't, not until I find him, not until I rescue him.

The temperature is getting colder. I figure I have gone the wrong way. But I know from experience that if you turn back, you will just get more lost. I am lost. I am trying. I will find you, no matter what it takes. I already lost my body, and soon my mind, but my soul will thrive on, waiting to see another day in life. If this is hell, then Heaven must be a wonderful place. They took you to test God. And now I am testing the darkness that resides in everyone. Hopefully, God will save us both.

Though blind, though senseless, I wander this seems-to-be never ending path. When I hear something in the dark smoke that surrounds me. Is that your voice? That is the only thing I have heard in weeks. I thought I went deaf. I wander if it's my mind playing tricks on me. It has ever since the beginning. No It's really you! As I walked towards the sound of your voice, my vision is returning. At first, I was blind in the new light. Now that I'm adjusting, I see you. In almost the same pose as you were when I first saw you. I am relieved to see you, but my heart hurts when I see the condition your soul is in. You were injured beyond belief, blood and open flesh surrounded your appearance. I then thought, for the first time since I was here, how am I going to get back? I don't care anymore. I untie the ropes and barbed wire from the post. You are safe again. As soon as I touched his limp, unconscious body, the world got lighter and lighter. The darkness that has surrounded me for endless hours has vanished. I suddenly felt an aching pain in my back. I looked over at the body next to me. Wounded and barely breathing, he's alive. Zolo is finally alive again. My mission is complete. My journey has no further path. I will live on anyway.
