Written last night, about 1 AM. Trying to do some more SF in the near future :)
SF SLASH
Stuck outside
It was cold. It was dark. It was wet. It was the sort of night you wanted to spend indoors next to the fire and with a cup of tea.
Not the sort of night you wanted to spend outside, cold and wet, trying to open the front door. At least, Sam didn't.
"I'm sorry, Frodo. I meant to have a look at that door this morning. It's been getting stuck for a while now."
"It's not your fault," Frodo replied, shoving the door one more time before standing back and glaring at it. He sighed. "And the back door's definitely shut?" Sam nodded.
"Definitely."
"Bugger. So, any suggestions on how to get inside? Windows, perhaps, or maybe-"
"I'm not climbing down the chimney before you even mention it. And neither are you."
"So how do we get in? I'm not sleeping in the flowers, Sam." Sam shook his head and pointed towards the end of the garden. "The garden shed?"
"It'll be dry, and probably warmer than it is out here." He said, painfully becoming aware of exactly hot cold it was. "And it's only for a few hours. Until this rain stops long enough for me to try and open the door."
Frodo shook his head, smiling, and started to walk towards the garden shed. "You're mad, Sam Gamgee."
"Ah, but you're the only one who thinks that. I, however, am one of many who thinks you're mad, Frodo Baggins. And I happen to know that you're also extremely childish."
Frodo stopped immediately. "Me?" He said, staring wide-eyed at Sam. "Childish?"
Sam nodded once more. "Childish."
"Right. That's it."
"What?"
"I'll race you to the shed!"
