What Will Rage Do?

Part 3

Johnny sat in the middle of the couch, slumped down, his hands tapping to a slow rhythm. There was no tv here and he didn't like that. The constant noise from the bedroom was starting to bother him.

He really wished Akira would shut up.

Nothing bothered him more than the mid-range nattering of the Japanese youth's emo voice.

What he was worried about was the lack of Rage's voice.

Suddenly, the door swung open and the black haired lad stormed out, pulling at his tie, streams of curse words flowing from his lips.

He turned to the door and screamed, "You're a jackass! I fucking hate you! I hope you break your ankles!"

Akira left then, slamming the single wooden front door, brass knob gleaming poignantly.

Johnny shifted in his seat, sitting up. He looked at his boots. They were no longer the shiny raven black of brand new, but more like a buzzard black of wear and tear. His jeans sat just over then, a rebellious cobalt. He rubbed his hands over his knees, drying them.

The bedroom door was still open and Rage hadn't come out.

The blond stood up, tugging down his white wife beater and went inside.

Rage sat on his bed looking up when Johnny came in. He reached over to the telephone and pressed a button. A message slurred into the room.

Baby –baby you know how I like it when you EXPLETIVE me so good c'mon just come over I –love youuuuuuuu so much I –are you there?... whut are you wearin' –

The message cut off and Johnny's face fell.

"He called here? Last night?"

Rage just got up and went over to his computer, searching for DDR tournament dates.

"Rage? Come on! I at least wanted him to know where I was! I'll apologize to Akira! Rage?"

The sienna haired dancer merely smoothed his goatee and stared at the screen.

"I'm sorry I love both of you!"

The man clicked the mouse.
