She fell to the ground and he rushed to her side. He stumbled and she was by his side to help him carry it out. But with one night everything changed and her heart was broken.
Samantha open the door of the cab, she grabbed her luggage from the trunk and made her way to the Tracy hangar. Samantha a smart 21 year old was Scott and Amber's daughter. Though unfortunately her mother had passed away when she was a little girl. She only had pictures of those happy times anymore to get her through. She wore her long brown hair down covering her eyes that were red from to much crying. She wore a dark suit which she was to familiar with. Her training had taken her all around the world and this is what she wore every time. Her face looked cold and hard from all she had been through. Once she had paused and took one last look around she continued on her way.
Scott paced the living room. Jeff was reading the paper but having a very hard time paying attention with his son like this.
"Scott she'll be fine." Jeff stated for the 50th time today.
"Sam sounded hurt over the phone." Scott said back.
"Scott don't worry so much." Jeff said as he walked out of the room.
RING. RING. The phone rang twice which gave Scott enough time to cross the room to answer it.
"Hello."
"Dad?"
"Samantha is that you? Honey come home now." Scott turned to concerned father right away after hearing her voice.
"Dad." Sam seemed absent not like herself.
"Sam honey what's wrong?" Scott asked hearing his daughter like this.
"Why did all this have to happen?" Sam questioned breaking into tears.
"Sam come home now." Scott said gently.
"No.I can't." Sam said.
"Sam where are you?" Scott then asked.
"I'm in the cave." Sam said and then the phone beep and she was gone.
The cave was a place on the island that only Scott and Samantha knew about. It had a great view of the island and it was close enough to the water that you could climb down and go for a swim. Scott made his way quickly to it alittle confused that he had not heard the plane come in.
Once he reached the cave he carwled in a little ways and heard the muffled cries of his daughter. She sat in the far corner soaking wet and shivering.
"Sam." Scott said pulling off his shirt to give to her.
"Dad why did they have to hurt him? US?" Sam cried.
Scott took his shirt and wrapped it around Sam.
"Samantha I don't know it's one of those things that I can't answer. I'm so sorry." He then hugged her tightly.
"Dad don't ever leave me." Sam said as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
"I won't Sam." Scott softly kissed her forehead and picked her up to take her home.
