Sacrifice
"...Lee-san! Are you sure where you're going?" Even though Haruno Sakura relied on Lee as much as her genjutsu, she couldn't help but doubt. Even a little. Oh hell, It was impossible to see the Konoha forest cleared with a single justu, until now. The familiar metallic smell of blood had already engulfed their senses as they raced through the torn down forest, mixed with the fiery scent of burning wood and flesh.
"A LITTLE FURTHER! SAKURA-SAN!" 'Dammit, He had to shout, at a time like this.'

"Oi, Neji!" A young Kunoichi yelled, amidst the circle of overgrown axe-wielding meat lumps, according to her. To bulky for a nin, she thought, '...And what with the wierd face?' She frowned, They'd be both dead within half an hour's time, the enemy doesn't seem to be decreasing in numbers. They were running low on chakra and equipment...and wouldn't backup have arrived by now?
"It's now, or never!" She flicked him a glance.
"What? Are you-"
"At a time like this? Who wouldn't be!" She waited for his reply, while dodging another axe swipe. To think she would get hit by those things, ouch...It's a hell lotta painful than imagining it though. She glanced at the Hyuuga, who seemed to be putting more aggressiveness in his attacks.
"JYUUKEN!" She winced for the poor lump-o-meat, 'Hah, thats gotta hurt.'
"Neji..." She tried once more, and he nodded with a hint of hesitation. Thankful that her voice was able to reach him once more she sighed heavily between smiles and reached for the last of her scrolls, but a sudden tap on her shoulder made her freeze.
"Just...be careful, okay? I won't be a ble to see you clearly, but if i hear that your'e hurt, I'll stop."
He glared at her, somehow, it was his way of getting a quick response, for crying out loud, those things were crowding in.
"...Please?" This time, he asked, with a simple pleading tone and face.
'..So this is it?' She asked herself 'This is what you see when Hyuuga Neji is scared?'
She stifled a laugh, which was very obvious to him.
"This isn't funny Tenten."
"I know"
She gave him a reassuring smile before grabbing both of her scrolls, mounting it, and performing the seals.
"Let's get this over with, i'll have more time to laugh later!" She said, as her jutsu commenced.
"SOUSHOURYU!"
She rocketed skyward with the summoned twin dragons, and quickly positioned herself at the top most. With quick aiming and agile throws, she hurled an army of kunais directly to Neji. And as expected, He hastily moved with honed reflexes.
"KAITEN!"
He whirrled, sending the barrage of chakra powered kunais to the circle of enemy, as practiced, and as planned.
Now,' if only he would'nt slip, or bend too much, or whirl to fast' he thought, that would send every kunai back to the owner.
