The Shade laments on his past regrets; struggling with his inner demons, never having closure regarding the abrupt departure of his fairy partner Navi, no one in Hyrule remembering his past deeds, and finally not being able to pass his teachings onto his descendants. After defeating the Calamity and reliving the harsh realities of their past thanks to Maz Koshia and his trials through the Champions Ballad, Zelda demands that Link returns to their home in Hateno to rest their minds and bodies.
