It was the middle of December. Snow was falling on the ground, smooth. There was no blizzard, just so much snow, that it was beautiful. Peter sat on the ground.

'I watched the smoke, as it grew darker and blew up through the roof
I watched the fed, saw them panic, as the fire grew
I saw Virginia, get rid of Langley, and its secrets too
I held your hand, and sat there knowing, that we'd make it through'

"Hi, sweetie. How have you been? Just felt like coming by to visit you. I haven't seen you in a while. I hope you're doing fine with all this snow. But I know you must be happy. Doesn't the snow remind you of that time we threw snowballs at each other? And when you threw one, it knocked me over 'cause I lost my balance? I'm sure you remember," Peter laughs.

'I saw this man disposed of hunger and soap operas too
I saw this field, that grew perfection full of things you do
I saw this box, get rid of heartache and cure cancer too
when I awoke I sat there hoping, this is what we'll do'

"Remember when Manny and Craig came to visit us in our lodge that one winter? We were all cuddled up in a blanket drinking hot chocolate. But then me, being my clumsy self knocked over yours and you got so pissed at me for it? We didn't talk to each other the rest of our trip. Manny and Craig were trying to reconcile us? Good times. I miss those," Peter told his love.

'If we can, we will leave a letter and this song for you
and we'll write once a day and float it through the sea to you
we'll regret all those things we thought of but didn't ever do'

Nothing came to Peter. No sound, no whisper, no kiss, nothing. A tear came strolling down Peter's cheek. He hoped that she did remember all the times that they spent together.

Peter stood up, placed a carnation on the grave that read,
