White is your colour of angelic wonder
Blue is the colour of the night where you slumber
Your silver hair is woven moonlight
Sparkling like diamonds that come from above
He spoke to me like an angel
Departing from this land
Never to come again
Never to be freed by any other hand
Moon dust that softly, softly rains down
He went away
I could not persuade him to stay
The moon spoke to me of an angel
A shadow of the nights
Dressed in white and blue
Living on a faded star
Your eyes are pale now
I can't remember that which used to be wonderful
You look so washed out and faded
I wish I could be less jaded
Now to see you right now as you are on the ground
I think of what I could say to make you stay
Watch you as you pass the ceiling of stone
And the stars that go down and then rise again
Watched your wings beat in a half moon circle
Wonderful light
On dust that's shimmering wonders fall down
And the trail you left
I followed it for eons and eons of days
Never knew where you went
Then one day, a dream came to life
A dream of you standing here right by me side
You looked up at me with those great pale eyes

Shadows of snow fall onto your hands
The angel grew tired
And wandered to the stars
One night the moon shone on me
Recalling that shadow in the night
Dressed in blue and white
Gone to live on a star afar
Your eyes are pale now
Washed out faded with time
Rising away from me again
Wings beat in a half moon circle
Dust shimmering wonders down
A trail left for me to follow
Followed for eons and eons
Your standing right by my side forever
Saying do not cry
Do not weep I am there for you
