Harry and Voldemort faced each other across the body strewn field. Harry was in emotional agony many friends were there mingled in with bodies of foes. "You die tonight Tom" "we'll have to see about that Potter"

CRUCIO shouted Voldemort and Harry ducked

"Always the unforgivables Tom can't you be more creative?"

Then the two duelled when Voldemort shouted out "I'm invincible Potter you cannot kill me"

AVADA KEDAVRA Nagini's dead body slumped on the ground and Voldemort could feel all his Horcruxes had gone

"But how? How could you have destroyed them all?"

Harry did not answer him but impaled him with the sword of Gryffindor and watched him die.

"How many?" asked Harry. "Too many" replied Minerva. She handed Harry the list of dead who had fallen on the battle field for the side of light.

Harry's heart felt ripped in two at the last names Ron had taken a killing curse for Hermione during the search for the Horcruxes and she had never gotten over it and died after avenging him. Ginny took a severing curse for Harry so he could kill Voldemort. It had severed her right arm and she had died shortly after from blood loss with the last tearful words of "Harry please enjoy your life now you've killed him. Find another girl since I can't be with you any more".

Harry looked around at the surviving members of the order. Very few had made it alive. Only Nymphadora Tonks, Fred Weasley, Minerva McGonagall, Bill Weasley and Kingsley Shacklebolt. Tonks had been devastated at the loss of Remus and Harry had been the only one able to comfort her. Fred was a wreck now without his twin he seemed to have no definition in life. Bill was devastated at the loss of almost his entire family and Minerva was strong for Albus. Yes she knew Snape was going to kill him Albus had told her himself and told her to be strong for him.
