But now we're all alone

Wedding bells ain't gonna chime

With both of us guilty of crime

And both of us sentenced to time

And now we're all alone.

"Things have always been complicated when it came to you," Sofia couldn't help but points out.

She brushed a strand of hair from Sara's shoulder, only to have Sara move her shoulders in a shrugging motion so the hair fell back in place. "Is it so painful for you to let me touch your hair makes you shy away?"

Sofia sighed and shifted slightly so that she was covered with the blankets more and rolled over and closed her eyes.

"Sofia?"

"You can do whatever you like Sara, nothing I say or do seem to matter."

Sara stared at Sofia's back. "That's not true."

Sofia looked at Sara from behind her shoulder. "You have a funny way of showing it."

Sara's answer was hidden in the silence.
