"Ginny, make I speak to you for a moment?" The small red head glanced up from her reading to the doorway. Seeing Hermione there, she smiled.
"Of course! What do you need?" She set her books off to the side in an effort to clean off her bed.

"Well, um... I was wondering if you could tell me something..." she trailed off, looking down at her hands, which she was wringing.

"Um, okay. If I know the answer I will. But you're the really smart one."

"Well... well, doyouknowifyourbrotherlikesmeatall?"

"Come again?" The younger girl asked, compleatly taken aback.

"Oh, it's nothing. You won't be able to help me." Herm said, rising and going towards the door.

"Come back here. Now, try that again, a bit slower." Ginny said, catching up to her, and escorting her back to the bed.

"Well, I know that he's been seen making out with Lavender, but, well... I kind of had this strange idea that he maybe, kind of, oh I don't know... liked me."

"Of course you did." Ginny said, smiling. At Herminoies stunded expression she continued. "You had that idea because he does. Although, don't ask him that. He would never admit it to anyone. But I know for a fact that he's doing everything he is, just to get you jelous."

"Oh? How do you know that?"

"My best friend is my brother's journals." She replied with a wicked grin on her face. Reaching under her pellow she pulled out a small black object. The cover was slightly tattered, and the pages looked like they had seen much better days.

"Is that-?"

"Yup. Our dearest Ronald Weasly's journal. Now then, let see here... where was that entry?" Flipping it open with well praticed ease, Ginny found the page she was looking for and started to read aloud. "I know this will sound strange. Oh, look, he has little hearts over his 'I's." She said, leaning forward to show the other woman. Laughing, she continued. "I know this will sound strange, but I sware to you it's the compleate truth. Today while I was in potions class I couldn't help but notice how Hermoinie looked leaning over her potion. She had that look of consintration on her face, and it made my heart do a little flip-flop thing. I wish I had the curage to tell her how I feel. I mean, I've been like this since our second year and she was petrified. Harry doesn't know this, but I used to sneak his cloak out, and go to visit her at nights. I told her so many things during that time... Ack! Someone's coming up the stairs. I'd better go."

Looking up into the stunded look on Hermionie's face, Ginny closed the book and slipped it back into it's hidding place. "He... he really feels that way about me? You're not making that up, right?" She asked, voice quiet.

"Yup. If you don't believe it, you can ask him yourself. Although, he may ask where you found that out. If he does, just promase me you won't tell him that I read his journal." Nodding, Herms got up and started to walk towards the door in a sort of haze. "Um, Hermionie, before you go, would you be willing to find something out for me?"

Turning, she looked at the smaller girl, waiting for her to continue. "I know you're the best of friends and all, and I know it might be kind of intruding on your friendship, so I would understand compleatly if you say you can't, but... can you find out how Harry feels about me for sure"
Snapping out of her daze a bit, she just grinned in reply. "Ginny, don't worry. I'll find out for you, no matter what. After what you just did for me..." She trailed off, a happy smile on her face.

"Okay, thanks! You're the greatest sister-in-law a girl's ever had."

"Sister-in-law!" Hermionie yelped.

"Ya'. I mean, I know how much you love my brother, and well, we both know how he feels about you, so I figure you're as good as married." Ginny said, laugh. Rather than replying, Hermionie just shook her head and walked out the door, unable to whip the smile from her face.
