Kissing isn't high on Ryoma's priority list (isn't even on top ten, or anywhere in-between that and one hundred). Hugging is even lower because he simply doesn't get the point, despite hearing people in class talk about it as if a hug would be on the same level as world peace, flowery fields or higher.

Ryoma hasn't even considered having girls on his list. They are just about as human as boys, makes up a half of the world population of Homo-sapiens and he doesn't have boys on his list, why would he have girls?

Ryoma has tennis, and that is plenty enough.

In addition, he has seven team mates, a cat and a prodigy.

(The latter which could fall into the first category but, he decides, perhaps should, could, deserve one on his own.)

Ryoma doesn't need anything more.

(Is what he believes, at least, until both kissing and hugging start to appear as subcategories right under the prodigy on the list.)

Ryoma gives in. Not without a fight, but he does.
