Today in History of Magic my pen fell on the floor... A very sad thing… I actually wrote a poem about my pen… It goes like this:
My pen fell down
On the ground
And I can't reach
I saw it fall
And I saw it breach
The pen was a very dear friend of mine
Even though it was blind
It made me write the wickedest stories
Its name was Boris
But now the pen's life has ended
It was very sad, but splendid
The funeral was weird
There were a lot of pens
Even one with a beard!
Very weird it was
But still
I will
Miss my dear pen
Now you're probably thinking: 'why does she have pen in Hogwarts? Don't they use quills there?'
Yes, everybody else beside me uses quills. I even use pencils! Quills are just so hard to write with. Just hoping I won't have to write with one on the exams… I had to do that last year, and my writing was so ugly that I could have gotten a T if it wasn't for the fact that Slughorn could read it.
There are rumours that he had to read it out loud for the other teachers…
Poor lad…
If it weren't for the fact that I was good at potions (mind you, I'm not like the suck-up Snape) then I would probably have gotten a T. Then I would be doomed! If I wasn't good at potions, Slughorn wouldn't have spared me another look (I'm muggle born) and I would have gotten a T. Even on my Charms exams that would be Hell and Doom mixed together, which is not good.
Not good at all
Now where was I?
Ah, yes, the pen.
Well, my mum would probably throw a fit if she saw that I got a T on my best subject. It's like failing in maths. Unheard of (in her little world where everything is perfect, everything is neat and clean, and everyone are polite and have long baths, where they wear clothes as if it is New Year's eve everyday)
Maybe it would just be a good idea if I started practising with a quill…
A/N: What do you think? If you haven't guessed it, it was Lily Evans that I just wrote about. A late night drabble before the exam I have tomorrow. Remember to review!
To Rage And Love: It's the same poem as the MSN convo earlier today:D
