LOST IN DARK PARADISE

Somewhere beyond the sea,

They lie waiting to be free,

Above the stars,

Above the moon,

And above the galaxy,

If the wind became strong,

Knocked down all of their trees,

Their lives would be worse,

For the monster agrees,

That the trees are the place,

For it to linger and hide,

And when the trees are all gone,

They'll know their parents lied,

When they said that the monsters

Had their many arms tied.

And the people that dwell

In the caves and the sea,

The "Others", they're called,

They're the link, they're the key,

To a mysterious force

That lies deep in the deep,

And before time runs out,

The survivors must keep

The thought to themselves

To destroy the cold place

Where the darkest and perilous secrets do dwell.

Will they ever be freed?

Will the ships and planes come?

Will the prowling night linger

Keeping the "Other" ones numb?

A tiny cat lies,

In the pond by the trees,

With its hair on its neck,

Standing not from the breeze,

And the people that lie on the island are fleas,

With poison locking their doors,

Throwing away all the keys.

The sea below yells,

The plane up propels,

And the waves seem to make a sad gasp.

And the windows are sealed,

But the passengers feel,

That this is the great Satan's wrath.
