Sitting on her bed, Chloe Sullivan balanced the laptop on her knees and stared at her email program blankly.
How the hell was she going to explain to everyone…to Pete…to Clark…that she was alive?
How could she explain surviving that explosion?
How could she explain the blue crackling that mended her skin…the buzz that reverberated in her head whenever her mentor was near?
And how could she take Duncan's advice and not write the email at all?
Chloe walked away from her computer, hoping a few hours of practice with the blade would clear her mind.
