DISCLAIMER: I do not own Saiyuki or Sanzo-sama. But this is my little tribute to him.

This is a sonnet I submitted for English class. It's Shakespearean as I am attempting to compete with the Bard himself.

Dangerous Priest

Great violet eyes that see through your soul

A countenance that always radiates

The powerful sutras he can control

There is a wisdom in all the words he states

Looks can be deceiving, looks can kill

Ideas to him are justly applied

With holy powers is great fighting skill

That at his approach, his enemies hide

A quick temper and an unsmiling face

Drinking and smoking are his enjoyments

An air of indifference always

In inflicting on fools painful torments

Towards the place where the sun sets to rest

He and three others journey to the west.
