1Alrighty then...this is my first fanfic, so please be kind. But if you have the urge to flame, please do.

And I don't own Inuyasha, though I wish I did, I don't.

Ok now Kagome is in her room after a well deserved shower, and she's comparing herself to Kikyou and getting herself all depressed, until a certain hanyou brightens her well uhhh spirits.

Here we go!

15 year old Kagome Higurashi gets out of the shower after not taking one for about a week and a half. She brushes out her hair, puts on a towel and enters her room. She looked in her mirror, with a kind of "your pathetic" look. Her and Inuyasha had just gotten into one of their infamous fights, and it happened to be about Kikyou.

Kagome seemed to be getting fed up with him always leaving in secret to go visit, and she got fed up of following him, and got fed up with getting depressed over it.

Now returning to her staring at herself in the mirror. As she looked at herself, she began to compare her and Kikyou. Getting sort of disgusted with herself, she turned away from the mirror and leaned her head against the wall.

"No wonder Inuyasha always goes to her" Kagome said to herself. "She's gorgeous, can actually shoot an arrow, and is just perfect. Plus she has the heart of someone that controls my mind every time I see him." She let out a long, exhausted sigh when she felt a breeze coming from her window. Before she could turn around, she heard a all too familiar voice whispering in her ear.

It was him. That hanyou who held her heart in his hands.

"Inuyasha" she breathed. That voice teased her ear as he whispered "Why do you insist on lying to yourself?" Kagome questioned herself on what the hell he was talking about. "Those things about you and Kikyou, why do you say them?" All Kagome could get out, mainly because she was focusing on his breath against her neck and the fact that she was in a towel, was "Because its true." "Why do you think that", the hanyou asked. "Because its true!" she half shouted, tears forming in her eyes. "She is gorgeous, and I definitely cant compare to her in skill, and she helps people, and just everything!" "Plus, she has you." The last part was a whisper, but he still heard it.

"Do you want to know the reason why I went to go see Kikyou yesterday" Inuyasha asked. "I went to tell that whatever happened between us is in the past, that I wouldnt go to hell with her, and that you, Kagome, were the person that I truly loved, and I couldnt be seperated from you."

Shock was clearly evident in Kagomes eyes. "Really?" she asked with the utmost hope. All the hanyou did was smile and say "yes, you love me for who I am, a hanyou, and Kikyou wanted me to be a human, I don't think she really ever truly accepted me for what I am, not like you."

Now if all this didnt shock the crap out of Kagome, than his next action would. Inuyasha carefully lowered his head toward hers, and while holding her body close, gave her a soft and sweet kiss. At first Kagome was like what the hell, but then kissed back with as much force, and wrapping her arms around his neck. Inuyasha was a little shocked by this action but quickly fell into the kiss, just as Kagome had. As they pulled away Inuyasha whispered those words Kagome had always wanted to hear from the hanyou.

"I love you, Kagome Higurashi, and I always will."

Tears welling in her eyes, Kagome whispered back "I love you too, Inuyasha."

The two lovers shared endless kisses, and more. The two were united that night, and not even time could separate what these two shared.
