Author's note: Sasuke is OOC, but not that much, this takes place after he has returned from Orochimaru and Itachi is not dead.

"Naruto, where's Sasuke?" a pink-haired young woman asked a certain blonde-haired, loud-mouthed young man, worriedly.

"He's with Tsunade-baa-chan!" the young man, known as Naruto announced, walking towards the pink-haired young woman.

"Oh…" the young woman trailed off.

"Don't worry, Sakura-Chan, Tsunade-baa-chan will be fair to Sasuke-teme!" Naruto assured, "Do you want to go see him?"

"Yes," Sakura answered, and the two left to go see the Hokage

'Knock, knock,' Sakura knocked on the door of the Hokage Tower.

"Come in," the voice of a woman said.

"Tsunade- Shishou …" Sakura trailed off, as she opened the door, and peered inside.

"Hello, Sakura," the blonde-haired woman, known as Tsunade said.

"HEY!" the loudmouth, Naruto exclaimed, walking into the room, and slamming the door behind him.

"Dobe," said a boy, whom looked around the age of 18, with dark colored hair, quietly.

"SHUT UP, SASUKE-TEME!" Naruto yelled angrily at the other boy.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted, his eyes shifting over to the pink-haired kunoichi, whom was standing silently beside the Hokage.

"Sasuke, you may stay in Konoha under these circumstances," Tsunade said, "One, if you are to continue looking for Itachi, you must become an ANBU. Two, in order to fight Itachi, you must be on an ANBU squad, or at least have an ANBU member with you at the time. Three, you are on no terms aloud to communicate with Orochimaru. Four, for your first month back, you will have an ANBU member with you at all times, and he will be accompanying your every move, do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, Tsunade-Sama," Sasuke said, and made a slight bow at the Hokage.

"Your ANBU guardian will be Uzumaki Naruto," Tsunade decided.

"WHAT?" Sasuke yelled, outraged!

"HA! I'm in charge now, Sasuke-teme!" Naruto laughed at the startled Uchiha.

"…Do you two wanna go out and eat ramen?" Sakura asked.

"YEAH!" Naruto agreed excitedly.

"Come on, Sasuke-Teme!" he ordered, following Sakura out of Tsunade-Sama's office.

…One month later…

…Outside the Hokage Tower…

"Sakura, do you want to go train with me at the training grounds?" the 18-year old Sasuke asked.

"Yes, is Naruto coming?" Sakura asked.

"No, he's on a mission," Sasuke answered, walking away from the Hokage Tower, with the pink-haired girl following.

"I can't believe Sasuke-Kun asked me to train with him," Sakura thought, as she followed her long time crush to the training grounds.

"Are you ready?" Sasuke asked, breaking Sakura away from her thoughts.

"Yes," Sakura answered getting into her fighting position.

"She's getting stronger," thought Sasuke, as he dodged his ex-teammate's kunai, and countered with some kunai of his own.

"…Sasuke-Kun, can we…take a break?" Sakura asked, taking a seat under the Cherry Blossom tree.

"Yeah…" Sasuke sighed, taking a seat a few feet away from Sakura.

The two sat in silence for about 5 minutes, until Sasuke broke it, "Sakura, do you remember when you said you loved me, before I left with Orochimaru?"

"Yes," Sakura answered, looking into the onyx eyes of the young Uchiha.

"Do you still feel that way?"

"Yes, and I always will!" Sakura smiled.

"I never told you, but I love you, too…" Sasuke quietly said, as Sakura scooted over, and rested her head on his shoulder, closed her eyes, and had a contempt smile on her face.
