Indigestion

Mitsuo welcomed the sensation of returning to his body. That ghost had displaced his soul and possessed his body far too long. Moments later, Mitsuo clutched his stomach as he felt the aftereffects of the ghost's activities.

Hasunuma chuckled. "Here, you might need these." He held out a tablet-filled bottle. "Who'd guess a spirit couldn't move on because he wanted to gorge himself one last time?"

Mitsuo wasn't as amused. Still, he was grateful. "Thanks. You think of everything."

"Not everything. Just you."

Slowly chewing the antacids, Mitsuo wondered once again if his friend's words meant more than they seemed.
