Hello People! Yeah i know I should be working on 'Seeing Through New Eyes' and 'Never' but this idea has been floating around in my head for like 2 weeks and its driving me crazy! So i decided to write it down and post it. I know its short but whatever. I hope you like it anyway! Here it it - drumroll- A Sleeping Bird!
A Sleeping Bird
After a long day of training the Titans decided to watch a movie. The movie they picked was Amityville Horror. Everyone sat on the couch in the dark living room. Robin sat on the end and Raven sat on his lap. She leaned up against his chest as he wrapped his arms around her waist. She could feel his hot breath on the back of her neck.
Slowly as the Movie went on Raven get very tired. ' Stay awake, Raven! Stay awake!' she told herself over and over again. But she couldn't resist and slowly her eyelids closed as she fell into the darkness that is sleep.
The movie ended and Beast Boy turned the lights on. When Robin looked down he a sleeping Raven in his lap. This sight was breathtaking for him. ' She is beautiful!' thought Robin.
" That movie was AWSOME!" yelled Beast Boy. Robin was quickly brought back to reality.
" Shhhhhhh Beast Boy!" ordered Robin. " Raven fell asleep and I don't want you to wake her up! I'm talking her to her room." Then Robin got up, caring Raven, and exited the living room. All of the Titans stared after him until they were sure he was gone. Beast Boy was first to break the silence.
" So…. HOW AWSOME WAS THAT MOVIE?" Stafire and Cyborg then joined in the conversation forgetting about the birds.
Robin walked down the dimly lit hallway still completely caught up in Raven's beauty. When he got to her door he noticed that he needed to hands to carry Raven and still had to punch in the access code to her room. So he slowly and gently set Raven down on the ground, making sure not to wake her. He punched in the code and the heavy metal doors swished open with a soft hiss. He picked up raven and walked into her room as the doors shut behind him. He set her down on her bed and put the covers over her so she wouldn't be cold. As he looked at her he realized that a few pieces of hair had fallen into her face. He gently took his hand and placed them behind her ear. He took one more look at her then turned to leave. But once he reached the door raven started to toss and turn violently in her sleep. Robin rushed back over and sat next to her on the bed and slowly stroked her hair until she calmed down.
" Good Nigh, Raven," said Robin. And he sat there until he too fell asleep. And the two birds lay there together both having peaceful dreams of one another.
