JC: This AsuCaga fic is dedicated to my friend and fellow-writer, akatsuki-hime. It's only a short one-shot fic. It's just a simple story revolving around my favorite couple in Gundam Seed.

Disclaimer: I don't own Athrun and Cagalli from Gundam SEED.

White Rose

A blue-haired boy, with emerald-green eyes, stood outside a house, waiting for her to come out. He was wearing a blue shirt with a white jacket and his black pants were paired off with black leather shoes. He looked up to the window of her room, as he held onto his Haumea pendant that he wore around his neck. It was given to him by his girlfriend, Cagalli Yula Athha.

"Athrun!" Cagalli yelled as she stepped out of the house. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting." She was saying this with a smile.

Athrun said nothing. He was too mesmerized by her attire that made her more attractive to his eyes. She was wearing a green tube blouse overlapped with a white blazer. Her white pleated mini-skirt was matched with her pair silver flip-flops.

Noticing his stare, her complexion gave off a hint of blushing cheeks. "Hey! Quit staring at me!" She sounded pissed.

He chuckled. "I'm sorry about that. It's just that you look really beautiful." His compliment turned her face redder.

"Shut up..." she said in a nervous tone. She turned around and crossed her arms. "Are we going or not?" She was hoping for an answer, instead Athrun wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

"Well then, let's go," he whispered softly in her ear.

She nodded her head. "Make sure you don't take me to the movies again. I hate watching romantic flicks," she said mockingly.

"Okay..."

After dinner, they visited the park where they settled themselves under a tree to stare at the bright full moon up in the sky. The night was quiet. Not a soul was around except for the two of them.

"This is a lot better than the movies," Cagalli spoke and gave him a smile.

"You're really not like other girls and that what makes you unique." He was telling her this with a handsome smile—a warm smile that she admired.

She leaned her head against his shoulder, while letting out a small yawn. She was feeling tired and sleepy.

"Um... Cagalli, if you'll fall asleep here, I..." He paused when he noticed that his blonde princess had fallen asleep. He took a deep breathe and sighed. "I have no choice but to carry you."

Before he did so, he picked out a rose from a bush nearby. He patiently removed the thorns, as he admired its simple glamour. "A precious rose... like her..."

The next morning, Cagalli woke up only to find herself in her bedroom. As her memories of last night flowed in, she gasped. "I slept on our date! I better call Athrun to say sorry." She slowly got off the bed, pulling the blanket with her. She scanned the floors for her slippers, and found them under her bed. How did they end up there?

When she got her fluffy bedroom slippers, she went to her dresser and found a flower there. It wasn't an ordinary flower. It was special. It was a white rose with a note tied to it. She picked it up to read the note that says:

I had a wonderful time with you. I love you, my precious rose.

Athrun

Cagalli smiled, as she held the rose near her chest. "That Athrun..." She giggled.

JC: Well, that's all for this one-shot. It's just short and quite simple. Of course, this story was inspired by a simple white rose too and Cagalli's image song. A white rose is unique and beautiful just like Cagalli-sama. Athrun was pretty romantic here, huh? I just love Athrun and Cagalli so much! Please give me a review. No flaming!!
