She couldn´t believe it. She just couldn´t believe it.
After nearly two years of fighting, insulting, lots of misunderstandings, tomboys, perverts… she was there. And the most important thing is that HE was there too. And not because of their parents, not because any kind of poisons or any guys coming after her and wanting to marry her, or him.
They were there because they wanted. They REALLY wanted.
It seems forever since the first time they saw each other. When a 16 year old Akane asked a red-haired girl to go and have some training at the dojo. When she realizad that this girl wasn´t a she but a he.The first time they went to school together, when he called her 'cute', the ice skaiting competition, Shampoo´s appearance, then Ukyo´s appearance,…
And after all that, a battle in China against Lord Saffron, her death, him calling her, asking her to open her eyes, she woking up…
He wasn´t the same after that. Always groom, always sad… he stopped training, he stopped calling her names… it´s just… he stopped doing everything he usually does. Just because he found out that he was afraid of loosing her forever. And he didn´t know what to do.
Until that day. That famous day when she couldn´t stand the situation anymore. She shouted, cried in front of him… and he said those magical words. The ones she was waiting for so long…
"I love you" he said.
"I love you too" she answered.
And all these mess started. Preparing the wedding, talking with the rest of his fiancees…
It seems all that was a dream. But no. It wasn´t a dream. It was their life. Or, at least, some part of it. Now they were starting a new life, together.
"I declare you to be husband and wife" and they kissed each other, knowing there will be difficulties, but they will do it good,because now they have a partner, someone who really care, and so they kno they will be allowed to live happily ever after.
