PercyXOliver

He wasn't sure what had convinced him to do it, why he'd suddenly sprung at the other but Percy Weasley did know that he'd just snogged Oliver Wood, the tall and handsome Quidditch Keeper with soft brown eyes and thick brown hair. It was a stupid thing to do really, throwing himself at the other, clasping the folds of his robes and tugging the other against him but he'd gone and done it.

Maybe it was because he was proud of Oliver. He'd been so proud of him to help his team, Puddlemere United, beat the Chudley Cannons on his premier match after leaving Hogwarts. Maybe it was because he was so glad that Oliver had asked him to come watch him play. Maybe it was the emphasis on the words in the letter Oliver had sent him weeks ago saying 'It'd mean a lot to me if you'd come, Perce' .

He cursed quietly under his breath at himself as he heard the numerous gasps of stunned fans, reporters and camera crews, the clicking of cameras, the cheer from a few gay men and gay men's fan girls in the audience, the chattering voices of various charming news casters and the seductive questions suddenly fired by ditzy and intelligent reporters alike.

"God, I'm so sorry, Ol, I..." But Oliver was grinning at him and he found he couldn't continue. His brow quirked as the other gave a smug look which soon turned somewhat wolfish. Before Percy could comprehend what was going on, the tall and handsome Oliver Wood with the same soft eyes that held something like mischief in them and the thick brown hair that was slightly windswept from flying, had grabbed Percy. One hand was at his waist, the other at his neck, rough fingers finding red curls, and Percy was swung off his feet, dipped down by Oliver who was now kissing him!

There were more gasps and clicks and cheers and questions.

There were more microphones trusted towards them and more hearts breaking throughout England and Scotland not to forget the rest of the wizarding world.

Oliver pulled him back up moments later, steadying Percy Weasley before grabbing his hand, entwining their fingers and winking. Without giving the poor Weasley a chance to catch up to the current events Oliver tugged the red head towards the changing rooms, stopping only once when they reached the beginning of the corridor which lead to the team changing rooms. With a charming smile and sway of their hands Oliver declared "He's taken and you can quote me on that" before dragging the stunned man off. Of course no one really knew who this taken man was but he'd soon become media interest, Percy Weasley, Fast riser in the ranks of the Ministry of Magic was taken. Fudge would have a field day with the media attention this would bring.

Percy decided he liked being spontaneous once in a while

Author's Notes: Ok so, This was yet another one of those pieces written when I should be doing something like coursework so that Sharon (My fashion and clothing teacher) won't kick my arse or pull my hair out for, although I usually arrive on time, get my work done and all that so, I suppose it can't be too bad right? I mean, I did get the work done.

I was aiming to write something about them being friends and it being one of those slightly tipsy times where they realise things are more between them but this works.

I'm getting tons of ideas but not able to get them all worked out in my head at the moment, stupid best friend being a pain and being all nasty and catty to me, stupid ben -grumbles about various things-

Enjoy!
