A bright flash lit up the assembled party.
"Right one more and you can go"
Another flash. A mass rush to pull off the annoying costumes.
"You all are such children" Rufus shook his head in mock embarrassment. "I can't take you anywhere"
"It was only a little Christmas card" Heidegger snorted from his post in the corner.
"did it turn out okay?"
"well here, lets see" the photographer clicked his mouse and brought up the preliminary digital image he had taken first. "take a look people"
A nativity scene, several people gathered in a stable, a sheep, a goat and a donkey behind them in stalls. A child asleep in a manger overlooked by doting parents, the three wise men at the door. A perfect Christmas scene.
On closer inspection….
"I knew that dress made my butt look huge" Reno prodded the picture. Himself in the blue dress of Mary.
"I look pretty hot" Rude tilted his head, Joseph in sunglasses and punk style earrings… novelty.
"…." Tseng blanched at the sight of the sheep chewing on a lock of glossy raven black hair.
"Heidegger takes up half the scene" Reno sniggered away, pointing to the third wise man, dressed in a tent… the only thing that would fit him.
"that tea towel my mum gave me really looks authentic" Reeve removed the Tetley tea men towel from his head, smoothing out his ruffled locks.
"Guys…. GUYS I'M STUCK!" Rufus wailed, he was stuck in the manger… playing a blonde baby Jesus.
"Coming Sir" Tseng removed his wise man robe and put down the myrrh. "I knew we should have gotten Brenda from accounts little baby boy to play Jesus." He sighed and tried to pull Rufus out.
"Drink Rude?" Reno removed the long black wig and the blue dress.
"Certainly honey" Rude cracked a smile, Reno punching him on the arm. They left Tseng, Heidegger and Reeve to save the president.
