Eternal Agony

Rose watched as another town was decimated because of her and her foolishness. That poor village. The village of Neet...she shut her eyes.
"WHERE IS SHE? TELL ME!" Her voice came out as a screech, like a banshee, "TELL ME! WHERE ARE YOU HIDING HER, YOU FOUL MORTAL?"
"I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE IS! PLEASE! LEAVE US BE!" Sobs, bitter sobs. Scared sobs. Screams, screams of dying people. The smell of burning flesh and of blood. The taste of blood.
The sound of the woman's scream when she slaughtered her mercilessly, "FOOLISH MORTAL!" A soft ping. A louder rushing noise. The drowning out of Rose herself as she became the focused Black Monster.
Screams, terror, fleeing people.
But, she could smell her...that bitch! She growled and flew off. She WOULD kill the Moon Child, she'd never failed before, and she sure as hell wouldn't fail now!
She would kill, decimate, destroy until the Moon Child was dead! It was her job. She didn't enjoy her job, but she would do it...because she had to.
She left behind the screams of pain and agony, to kill the Moon Child...left the village without seeing him or his wife, not realising he was alive. Nothing.
She chose this life. She chose this life and she couldn't draw out of it.
She would live in...eternal agony.
Hmm. Not my best, but I like the new format. While I don't usually write LoD fics, I thought this was good enough. This isn't correct, of course, but I like it in any case.
I'm well aware it sucks. PLEASE don't do my the justice of reminding me.
It's better than some of the fics on this site? Oh, there's a good excuse. Excuse me while I boil my head for making y'all read this piece of garbage.
