As We Look Around

As we look around

And to You, look t'ward

How shall we describe

Thy splendors, oh Lord?

To the One who reigns High

Straight up in the Sky

As we look and we cry?

We give You this praise

In reverence and awe

For You made the things

We heard and we saw

They praise You on High

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry.

The dew in the morning,

The blade of the grass

The smell of the flowers

The laugh of a lass

The clouds set up high

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

The roar of the Ocean

The waves and the sand

The cry of the seagull

The crags standing grand

Home, for those who fly

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

The calm in the woods

The smell of the trees

With branches, they hum

And sing with their leaves

While a wind passes by

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

The sand everywhere

The ground, scorched with fire

By the orb that so shines

With beauty and ire

Throws heat up on high

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

The curtain of dark

All studded with lights

The stars, gently beaming

With their pearly whites

The Moon on the fly

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

The still steadfast rocks

The ice, gleaming so

The glaciers, so silent

So stately, so slow

They sing as they sigh

Straight up in the Sky

We look and we cry

Oh, how small is our off'ring

We wish we praise You more

For Thy beauty, Father in Heaven

Is what we wish to live for

We lift up these eyes

Straight up in the Sky

As we look and we cry

Redeemed by Your blood

You paid the great price

You died in our place

As The Sacrifice

And under the sky

To the Cross lifted high

We look and we cry

We see that You live

And rose from the Grave

You showed You have power

To come and to save

The lost, seeing You on High

Straight up in the Sky

As we look and we cry

How great is that day

When You wipe the eye

That shed all these tears

To see you lifted high

Your Holiness and Glory

Straight up in the Sky

As we look and we cry

How amazing that day

When all of the Saved

Will come to Your Courts

And praise Your Good Name

We'll drink a great toast on High

As we look and we sigh

Content, In Love

As we live with You

Redeemer and Savior, our Judge and our Friend

Our King and Salvation, Beginning and End

As we look and we sigh

Together in the sky

Up on high

Praise be the Lord, the Almighty, the King of the Ages…
