Max walked down the bright street of Palm Brinks. Ever since they defeated Sirus (AKA Griffin) at Moon Flower Palace, he was depressed. Not seeing his mother, and Monica, left him with nothing to do. "Ah, Max," A voice called out to him, "It's me, Cedric. I need to talk to you real fast, then I'll let you get back to what-ever you were doing." Max sighed, for the unexpected greeting had scared him. "Sure Cedric, I'd be glad to talk to you for a sec." They walked into Cedric's Maintenance shop, and they both grabbed a seat. "What's troubling you, Cedric?" Max asked. "Well," Cedric started, "Me and the Mayor have decided to make a few changes around here. To start it off, we're re-opening the Black-Stone Railroad to the public. Second, I'm going to need you to find a rare ore, called Tynon, capable of getting time travel; it won't be anything like the Atlamillia, though. We need theTime-Traveling ore to gointo thepast to find a specific type of fuel that doesn't exist anymore. So I ask you Max; will you help us?" Hearing the word Atlamillia made Max remember his adventures with his friends. After thinking hard, he agreed. " That sounds like a mighty big challenge but, who cares, let's do it!"
Max went inside Cedric's workshop, and plopped downin achair.Hewas feelingtroubled. He didn't know where the ore would be. Palm Brinks mine was currently shut down, so that cancels out going there. The only way he could find the ore was to go on another adventure. "Should I go to Heim Rada?" Max thought to himself, "Or should I go to Veneccio?" All of a sudden, there was a blinding light on the middle of the building. "W-what's going on?" Max said loudly, as if expecting to get a response. The light calmed, and Monica appeared. "Monica? How did you get here?" Asked Max. "Well," Monica started, "Time travel is now outlawed in the future, but I managed to sneak a starglass. So watcha been up to?" Max got a great idea. Him and Monica made a great team. Together they could find the ore faster. "I need your help. We are thinking about opening the Railroad, but we need to find a ore capable of going into the past. We need to go into the past to find a fuel for the train. Will ya help us?" Monica grabbed Max's hand and shook it, saying, "I'd be glad to."
