Chapter 1: The Invitation
Gordon walked marrily to the mailbox. He thought it was a great day. "Do, dee-dee, dee-dee dee do, dum de dum!" He hummed.
"Gordon! What's in the mail?" His brother, Mr. Blik called from the house.
"I'm getting right to it, Blik!" Gordon shouted back. Gordon was a mean, black machine. You did whatever he told you and liked it.
"Is there any mail for me?" Gordon and Blik's other brother, Waffle, came bouncing out with a smile and his beloved newts.
"Actually there's mail for all of us!" Gordon said as he handed the two their mail.
"It says 'Dear Cats, Regarding this letter, I've been told to invite you over. It's my pleasure to let you sleep over, have root beer, and be obnoxious. None of my friends are invited, but you also shall not bring friends. The party's tonight at 7:00. Don't be late! Signed, Human Kimberly!'" Gordon read excitedly. Gordon had a crush on the Human Kimberly, well done.
"Well, my brothers, it's sleepover time!" Mr. Blik put his arms around the other two.
"Newts! We're going to a sleepover!" Waffle said to all his precious pets.
Secretly, Human Kimberly watched them read the invites from a bush. She was excited!
