(spoken) "Mirror Mirror, lie to me, show me what I wanna see" (repeat)
Tai walks up to a mirror, while the view zooms in slowly on the mirror reflecting him standing alone in front of it.
"Why don't I like the guy I see, the one that's standing right in front of me."
Tai frowns at himself and tells Agumon (off screen) to use Pepper Breath on him There's momentary complaining before the scene switches to someone's living room. He's talking but we don't see who he's talking to or hear what Tai is saying.
"Why don't I think before I speak, I should have listened to that voice inside me."
Tai notices MarineAngemon on his shoulder and they talk briefly.
"I must be stupid."
Tai turns and kicks the wall, and the digimon runs off.
"Must be crazy."
He punches the wall.
"Must be outta my mind."
He bangs his head against the wall and rests it there
"To say the kind of things I said last night."
He turns back around with a look of regret
"Mirror Mirror hanging on the wall, you don't have to tell me, who's the biggest fool of all. Mirror, Mirror I wish you could lie to me, and bring my baby back, bring my baby back to me."
The scene returns to the mirror where Tai is singing. When he repeats the last line, Kari walks next to him and places a hand on his shoulder, to which Tai only shakes his head.
"Mirror, Mirror. Lie to me, show me what I wanna see."
"Why did I let you walk away, when all I had to do was say 'I'm sorry'. I let my pride get in the way, and in the heat of the momnt I was to blame."
Tai is outside his building now, chasing after Sora, He runs after her and opens his mouth to call her back, then stops and stays quiet, shuffling back to his door.
"I must be stupid."
He kicks the building beside him
"Must be crazy."
He punches the wall after.
"Must be outta my mind"
He bangs his head on the wall again.
"Now in the cold light of the day I realize."
He shivers and looks up.

The mirror shows Davis stepping up to him this time on Tai's free shoulder, but he shakes his head again.
"If only wishes could be dreams, and all my dreams could come true, there would be 2 of us standing here in front of you."
A misty form of Sora appears off on Davis' side and hugs Tai, but she fades before his arms fit around her.
"If you could show me, that someone, that I used to be, bring back my baby, my baby to me."
Kari steps into the picture and places her hand on Tai's free shoulder.
"Mirror, Mirror hanging on the wall, you don't have to tell me, who's the biggest fool of all. Mirror, Mirror I wish you could lie to me, and bring my baby back, bring my baby back."
Sora moves in, behind Tai. Kari and Davis notice her, but Tai doesn't.
"Mirror, Mirror hanging on the wall, you don't have to tell me, who's the biggest fool of all. Mirror, Mirror I wish you could lie to me, and bring my baby back, bring my baby back, to me."
Sora moves closer, Tai finally notices her and he apologizes. She glomps him and they kiss, to which Davis grimaces. Tai turns around with Sora in his arms and the camera zooms out, showing the rest of the digidestined and all 12 digimon on a riser setup.
