The Next Narnia King & Queen

Chapter One

It'd been two years since Kings Peter and Edmund and Queens Susan and Lucy found Narnia. It was 1942.

They'd grown to like the professor's house. Narnia was such a cool place to live in. They loved it! It was nicer in the spring and summer. But they also like playing snow fights in the winter with the professor's warm fur jackets.

But now it was time for more another king and queen. The battle of Narnia was yet again to be relived.

A terrible secret was to be revealed but not right now.

The news had just come that day. They were getting two more evacuees. The children didn't know what they looked like although they were curious.

"I wonder what they look like,' Lucy, the youngest, carried on saying for the last couple of days.

"We don't know, Lucy," Edmund said, calmly.

"But we're going to find out real soon," Susan said.

"Look over there, there's Mrs. Mcreedy with evacuees." Peter pointed at horse pulling a carriage.

The kids ran to the carriage.

By this time it wasn't too far from the house.

The evacuees were black – it wasn't what they were expecting because there weren't a lot of blacks around their time.

As they neared the house the horse slowed down. The four children ran over to the carriage.

"Hi," Lucy said. "I'm Lucy and this Peter, Edmund and Susan."

"Hi," the girl, who was the oldest and around Peter's age said. "I'm Abbey and my brother's Craig."

"Hi," Craig said.

"Hi."

"Well let me show you to your room," Mrs. Mcreedy said.

"We'll be out here if you want us," Peter said.

Abbey smiled.

After about five to ten minutes, the new evacuees came outside.

The kids went inside quickly because it was so cold in the winter.

The new evacuees went to rest for a while and the kings and queens of Narnia decided to go back and visit their palace. It'd been two weeks since their last visit to Narnia.

"I think we shouldn't go in there," Peter said.

"Why?" Lucy asked.

"Because we're leaving those new evacuees and that's not fair," Peter said.

"When we go to Narnia it doesn't affect time in this world," Edmund said.

"Come on, Peter," Susan said.

"Okay, come on."
