This is based on The Million-Year Picnic.
Vacation to Mars
Let us all take a vacation to Mars,
For this Earth has lost its entire thrill.
Every part of life here has left us scars
Let us go away on our own freewill
Where pass races eternally do flaunt,
Their broken-down cities and dead harbors,
On the red-dust surface of Mars do daunt.
Dead flowers climbing along old arbors
Let's go on a million-year picnic
Go boating on these crystal-clear waters
There, the annoyance of time will not tick
For either father, wife, son, or daughter
Life will be calm for our poor, tired souls
Finally life will be in our control
