Visiting Harry

There were flashes of light everywhere, Harry could hardly see were he was going. A jet of bright green light flew past his cheek causing his hair to stand on end. He spun around, looking for the person who cast it, and then he saw Him. The person, no, the thing that everyone cowers in front of, the thing who's worked himself such a reputation that only a few people can work up the courage just to say his name. Lord Voldemort was standing in front of Harry, with his wand pointed straight at his heart.

"Do know how long I've waited for this, for when I would finally get the chance to kill the great Harry Potter?" he questioned.

The graveyard had gone silent, everyone was watching them.

Harry wasn't ready for this, he was only 21 years old, yet his life was flashing in front of his eyes. He tried to back up, but he couldn't move, Voldemort had placed him under the full-body bind. Harry was desperately thinking of some sort of escape, he had to survive, for his friends, for the Weasleys, and for his wife, Ginny.

With that thought, Harry somehow pulled his way out of the body bind. He turned and tried to make a run for it, when he heard Ginny cry, "Harry, watch out!" He spun around once again to face Voldemort. A jet of green light was speeding towards him and the last thing he saw was Ginny's shock stricken face before he plunged into darkness.

It had been three years today since Harry had died. Ginny was standing in a graveyard, looking down on her husband's grave. Harry never got to see Voldemorts face as the curse once again backfired and hit him, but not before killing Harry in the process. She kept expecting to look beside her and see Harry's smiling face looking at her. It was at these times when it hit her the hardest, he was gone and he wasn't coming back.

"Mommy, mommy, look what I found!"

Ginny quickly wiped away the small tear that had tracked it's way down her face and turned around to face the small boy racing his way towards her, clutching something in his palm.

"Isn't it pretty?" he said happily as Ginny picked him up. He unfolded his hand to reveal a sparkling stone.

"It's beautiful, Damian." She replied as she set him down. Damian looked at his surroundings for the first time.

"You're visiting him again, aren't you, mommy?" he said quietly. Ginny just nodded.

They were both quiet for a moment until Damian asked softly, "Do you think he's happy were he is?"

Ginny smiled down at her son, "Yes, I think he's happy, he's with his parents now. That's what he always wanted, to have a family again."

They stood in silence for a few more minutes until Ginny picked Damian back up and said, "Come on, it's time to go home now."

Ginny started to walk away. Damian looked over her shoulder at Harry's grave and whispered "Good bye, daddy."
