This is dedicated to Teen Titans Issue #30, the issue that made so many dreams come true with the first official Beast Boy and Raven kiss! Celebrate all Raveast Fans! They are now a cannon! Official! So, this came to me in a pomegrate and chocolate induced daze after reading an amazing fanfiction. The title is Transparent Tasks; read it! I know this is crapy, but I wrote it in such a fit of inspiiration; I'm afraid to change anything in fear that it will lose some fo the power it has for em. It's just a reminder to me and others of the power of love.So, I present to you, the results of official BB/Raedom:
Justdon't expect a happy ending.
It is said that the body is a tool for the mind, and the heart is but a home for the soul. The moment the first shovelof dirt hithie mahogany coffin, her soul realized what happened.
Beast Boy was dead.
And the moment her soul realized it, her heart burst with pain, sorrow, regret.
And, strongest of all, love.
The soul was strong, oh was it strong, but the heart could not take such pressure. It collapsed, stopped, failed to beat.
Raven swayed as she blinked for the last time. Then, with a flutter of her cloak, she fell. Her last gasp;
"…good bye…"
A small thud was made as her limp body hit the coffin. She was dead before she hit the casket.
But that noise was not heard by the Titans. The sobbing, the gasps of surprise, the thud, it all ceased to exist as Raven toppled over.
None of them moved, none of them cried any tears for her. In a way, they knew it was coming.
She could not live without him.
And to this day, they are buried there, together. Side by side, in unacknowledged love, friendship and loss. As the Titans dwindled down, they too were placed there, besides their friends.
Titans Forever.

As this new chapter in Beast Boy and Raven romance opens, do not forget that love, as beautiful as it is, can be a poison. As we celebrate new-found (if fictional) love, remember those to whom, love was a killer, a constant source of grief.
But fellow fans, Rejoice!

Because as Beast Boy and Raven learn to love one another, we wallow in our love for them.
Your loyalty and sacrifice has paid off!
We are official.
And nothing can break us now.
