Kakou Tenshi

(Fallen Angel)

She sat in complete silence, unaware of what surrounded her. No one said anything to her. Another sad homeless girl, they thought. If they only knew what I am...what I was. They didn't care. And because they didn't care, the didn't see...

How did this happen? What went wrong? Will it ever end?

But it was her fault it was like this, or so those who did speak to her said. She had let her emotions run away with her, and ended up breaking the rules. People like her were suppose to help people, and she tried. They punished her, told her she was wrong. The one person she trusted slamed the door in her face, and she was left alone.

But no one cared, and so no one could see the gray wings in her back. Nobody could see they fact that her eyes were filled,not only with hopelessness, but with sadness and pain as well.No one could see because no one cared about Kagome...the fallen angel.

"Hey, are you alright? "

She looked up, into a young man's eyes, silver hair cascading around his tanned face, hiding his ears from view. If she had looked carefully, she would have seen he had no ears (at least, not normal ones), but her eyes were transfixed on his eyes. His beautiful, golden eyes.

"You okay?" He asked softly.

"No. The only home I ever had is no longer welcoming me back, and the one person I loved betrayed me."

"Why don't you come to my place for a bit? I can get you something to eat, you can tell me what happened."

She gave a soft chuckle, one filled with sadness and regret.

"Thank you, but what I have been through.. no one can know."

"Well, you could still use a hot meal."

She said nothing, knowing what he wanted, she had helped girls out of these situations before.

" I'm sure you can find women with much more quality to entertain."

"Don't make me drag you there. I don't want anyone else, I want to talk to you."

She smiled, a tired smile, but a true one.

"Fine. But if you try anything, I will correct you. Permenatly."

He laughed, and said "Deal."

Kagome stood up, and the man held out his hand. She hesitated, then took it.

"By the way, my name's Inuyasha."

"Mine is Kagome."
