A Drabble About a Girl, a Dog, and a Dog Whistle
Kagome jumps out of the well, heaving a heavy backpack out of it. Inuyasha, waiting for her in a tree, comes up to her. He notices a silver whistle hanging from her neck.
"What's that?" he asks curiously.
Kagome looks down and holds the whistle in her fingers. "It's a dog whistle."
"A dog whistle?" Inuyasha is puzzled. "What do you do with that?"
Kagome put the whistle to her lips and blew. Inuyasha got down on all fours and starts to run around in a circle, barking madly. Kagome stops.
Inuyasha gets up, dusts himself off, and says, "Oh."
