From Winter To Spring

Chapter I: Snowball Fight

Disclaimer: Okay lets get this out of the way. I don't own Inuyasha. Some person with a lot more money then I do. So don't sue me.

'Hey, Kagome?' asked Inuyasha as he felt something cold and wet land on the top of his head. He stared blankly at his mate, when she started to giggle.

'Yes Inu-chan. What is it?' Kagome asked her Husband, who just looked at the down at the ground that was starting to get a fresh coat of snow.

'Kagome, What is this wet, white, fluffy stuff that is coming from the sky?'

'Why its called snow. Why do you ask Inuyasha?'

'Feh.'

Kagome pulled out a pair of pastel pink gloves out of her matching winter jacket. Inuyasha stood as still as he could with out giving away that this snow made him cold. Kagome knew Inuyasha was as hard headed as a mule, so she had brought an extra pair of gloves and an extra scarf .

'Inuyasha Close your eyes, and don't open them until I say so okay?'

'Yeah Yeah' Inuyasha said as he closed his bright ember eyes. Kagome bent over to her backpack and pulled out the extra set of gloves and the extra scarf. Then she wrapped the scarf around his neck and put the gloves on his hands. After she was done with that Inuyasha felt 10-times warmer. Then he did before, Kagome turn back around to her bag and pulled out two more things, and they were a nice warm jacket and a hat that had slits in it for his ears. She put the hat on first, it had made Inuyasha's ears twitch a little bit, but then they stopped. Then the hard part came the jacket, She lifted one of Inuyasha's arms up and slide the jacket on then did the same thing.

'You can open them now. But don't take any of it off.' Said Kagome as she smiled at how cute Inuyasha looked.

'What did you put me in Kagome?' Translation: Thanks Dear I feel so much warmer.

'Inuyasha you are so ungrateful.' Translation: You look sooo cute and your welcome.

Inuyasha didn't want Kagome to see him smile at her thoughtfulness that he put his back towards her. As Kagome saw the opening she bent down to the snow covered ground and started to pack some of the snow into a round object. Before she knew it she had just the perfect projectile for throwing. When she came back up Inuyasha still had his back towards her. So she lifted, her arm up so high and threw the snowball at the back of Inuyasha's head.

'HEY WHAT WAS THAT!' yelled Inuyasha

Kagome only smiled at the Redding Hanyou.

'Kagome.' Inuyasha packed some snow together and formed a oddly shaped snowball and threw it at kagome.

'Hey that's not fair. I wasn't ready.'

'Yeah Yeah.'

Kagome was so mad at him that the next word that came out of her mouth would make him change his tune.

'Inuyasha, SIT!'

'Feh!' The hanyou said as he spit out some dirt and snow that had entered his mouth.

'Whatever Inuyasha' as she said that she flung another snowball at him.

'Oh and by the way we are going to be parents.'

As Kagome said that she turned and head for Sango and Miroku's house. Kagome knew that Sango had given birth to 2 baby girls and 3 baby boys, and Sango seem happy and content with being a stay at home mom while Miroku went to work. Inuyasha didn't chase after her because he was to dumb founded to move. Inuyasha didn't care he was just too happy to speak.
