BloodyCrystal: Hey, all. I realize that I should be more focused on Dream Master and all, but I couldn't resist this nagging little idea bunny… Hopefully he'll leave me alone after I post this. It's MEANT to be a one-shot, but I might change it if I get enough requests. However, Dream Master will remain the first priority; after midterms, of course.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fire Emblem (7). I only wish I did.

She relaxed under his ministrations, the tension easing out of her as it always did. He was just too…Too nice to her, she decided, knowing that any other answer would only force her to face her obsession. Yes, she was obsessed with him; she admitted it freely, from time to time. But she was careful to not let him know; this was, after all, a "convenient" arrangement that they had. And she didn't want to lose a good friend over her own feelings.

She had been taught from childhood training to "lock it down," to hide her emotions behind an icily calm façade. It was only a matter of bringing up those lessons to help her lock down her emotions, to hide them from him. After all, his massages were killer.

He smiled down at her, aware that she couldn't see it. After all, he was facing her back, leaning over her during another one of their…well, sessions-as he called them to keep it as platonic as possible. After all, he was way too old for her. He didn't want to add cradle robbing to his long list of crimes, especially not when it came to her.

She was too sweet, too pure, to have to go through that, and he had been taught to control his lust-or love, depending on the point of view. So he would be content as her good friend, possibly her best one, next to Lady Lyndis, of course. And as her friend, he had to help her however he could—even if that help meant testing his limits-and resolve-to the breaking point.

She sighed, relaxing even further. This was the one pleasure that she allowed herself to indulge in, and she planned to enjoy it. It tested her resolve to not…jump…on him, but she appreciated the muscle relaxant. If only she was good enough for him, but her hands were stained with too much blood, her friends' beliefs to the contrary.

His smile softened into tenderness when he felt her relax even further. It was so nice that she trusted him enough to relax completely—he had noticed how tense she was around others, even Lady Lyndis and Lords Hector and Eliwood. If only he was a bit younger-but no, he mustn't think like that; it would only lead to trouble.

Both sighed, enjoying each other's company but wishing for something more in the middle of a raging war against an insane man and his desire for power and dragons.

BloodyCrystal: I'm not really satisfied with it, so it'll either disappear or be revised. If you want me to continue it, expect it to be in the game verse and possibly extending, and note that Dream Master is still more important.
