Windu ignored the pain in what was left of his arm, and opened up the storage container underneath the driver's seat, and found two DKX-10 blaster pistols inside, as well as a medpac. The DKX-10 was a heavy automatic pistol. One looked as if it had many "special modifications", such as a 3x optical scope and a larger power cell that jutted out of the left side of the barrel. Most interesting, though, was a small glowing hole, about a centimeter deep, near the handle. Windu, in his long years in the Order, was not as familiar with blaster technology as the rest of the galaxy, but he had seen this before. Where was it? Bespin.. Yes, it was Bespin, when he was captured by Separatist forces and they drained the power on his lightsaber into their communications array to signal a fleet to come out of hyperspace. Obviously whoever owned the blaster owned a lightsaber, and installed this port as a backup measure in case the lightsaber broke. What was puzzling, though, was that most modern lightsabers were designed to have easy access to the power cell. Windu thought about this for a moment before the pain in his arm screamed, and he applied some bacta to the wound. Right now he should be focusing on staying out of shock, not a mysterious blaster. He started the speeder, and thought about his options. If he were to get to a medical center on Coruscant, he might be recognized, but with a bit of Jedi mind-tricking, he could get the medical attention he needed without worrying about any clonetroopers opening fire. He sped off, leaving the Senate building for what he hoped would be forever.
