Christmas One-shot
It was the night before Christmas, and the whole Hikari family was home… and awake.
The reason the youngest was awake, he was peering around as if looking for someone spying on him.
"Netto-kun, its time for bed," his mother said, trying to get the bed ready for bed.
"I can't, he'll see me!" three year old Netto protested.
"Who will?" his mother asked confused.
"Santa will!" he wailed.
His mother looked at him in confusion.
"Why would Santa see honey, he's busy delivering toys," she said and knew that boy Dakao had said something again.
"But Dakao let me hear Santa's song, where he watches you! I don't want him to watch me!" the chibi sniffed.
"Netto…" she began.
"I don't want him to see me change! He could be one of those people Meiru mama calls Dirty old men!" Netto wailed.
"What's wrong?" her husband asked walking into the room.
"I can't go to bed!" Netto said, and began to wail again. The man dug into his pocket and pulled out a candy.
"Here," he said passing it to his son.
"Candy!" Netto cheered and ate it, totally forgetting his Christmas woes.
"What's wrong love?" he asked his wife, seeing her leveling a glare at him.
"Do you know what you just did," she said.
"Settled him down…" he said.
"You gave a three year old Candy, it will take hours to get him to sleep now," she said, he sweatdropped seeing Netto now jumping around hyperly.
"Ops..." he said.
"That's nice dear, now it's your turn to put him to bed," she said leaving the room.
"Wait!" he protested, but she was already gone.
He turned back to his son, and gasped as his son seemingly defied gravity to bounce off a wall.
'This... is going to be a long night' he thought.
