Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, carefully poked at the Dark Mark on his Potions Professor's left arm. His dark emerald green eyes filled with intensity as a tuft of messy black hair fell forward, brushing his lashes. In frustration, he tossed his head back to clear his eyes, revealing his lighting-bolt shaped scar.
"Well Potter?" The Potions Professor snapped, red splotches forming on the normally sallow colored skin. "What do you think?" Severus Snape glared at the boy holding his forearm. The boy-who-lived glanced up in annoyance, green eyes to black, before returning his gaze to the Dark Mark, ignoring his professor.
"Well?" The greasy potions master snapped impatiently. A hand was placed on the potions master's shoulder. Glancing back, Snape met the eyes of the Headmaster of the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
"Now, Severus, calm yourself. He will tell when he knows something." The aged Headmaster spoke with his calm, soothing voice. Snape shot a dark look at Albus Dumbledore when Albus continued, eyes twinkling brightly, patting his pockets with his free hand. "Care for a Lemon Drop? I'm sure I brought some with me. Nothing more soothing than a Lemon Drop. Wonderful Muggle creation. Now-"
Soft hissing noises interrupted the Headmaster's babblings. The men turned startled glances to the boy.
"Harry?" The Headmaster asked softly, eyes still twinkling. The boy in question grinned.
"All I had to do was ask it to leave." Glancing at the revealed forearm, both men were amazed to see the Dark Mark had indeed, vanished. The Headmaster turned to the Potions Master with a mischievous smile.
"Well, Severus, I hate to say it but, I told you so." The Headmaster beamed at the vacuous face of the potions professor. "My research proved correct. That scar makes him Lord Voldemort's equal in every way. Young Harry here has the ability to undo and change everything that Voldemort does. Though it may take some time before Harry is ready to take on such a responsibility."
The man in question, narrowed his eyes at the Headmaster before turning to Harry.
"Potter, your detention is over. Get out." Severus pointed sharply at the door. "Headmaster, I believe you too, know the way out." Severus turned and swept into his office, letting the door close sharply behind him.
Harry looked up when Albus stepped up next to him.
"Do you think that was a 'Thank you'?" Harry asked impishly. The Headmaster laughed.
"Yes Harry, I do believe it was. Lemon Drop?"
