Lily walked timidly to Platform 9 3/4. She was dressed in tight jeans and a baby doll shirt with the word, "Babe" on it. She had her arms crossed over her newly developed chest and was pulling her shirt down over her exposed hips.

"Oh, come on, Lily.", her best friend Erica said. "You look great."

"Yeah, right." Lily said. "Just because you picked out my new wardrobe-"

"Oh my GOD, Lily! You look fantastic!", shrieked Dale, her other best friend. She came running over and held Lily at an arms length.

Lily reddened, "You guys…"

Dale kept on screaming with excitement, "And you grew a figure-"

Lily glared at her friend. "Shut it." She stalked angrily onto the train with her best friends rushing to keep up.

Dale smiled at Erica. "Something tells me we're not going to be the only ones who notice." She whispered.

oOºOoOºOoOºOoOºOoOºOo

Dale was extremely right in her guess.

Lily had left Hogwarts at the end of last year a short, skinny girl with red hair and green eyes. She had a terrible case of the acne and had been tortured mercilessly by the mauraders during the end of her sixth year.

She came back, well, a beauty. Now she had prominent cheek bones and large green eyes. Her red hair fells in gentle waves down her back. She had grown five inches, making her still short but not as short and the most noticeable change was that she developed curves.

Unfortunately for Lily, she had her growth spurt when she was at Erica's house. Her parents sent her money to exchange into wizard money but Erica had a different idea. Erica decided to use a lengthening spell on Lily's uniform robes. They used the money to buy muggle clothing for outings to Hogsmeade and for the remainder of the vacation. Erica, who was known for having a great fashion sense but being rather risqué at times, had picked out each and every one of Lily's outfits.

Lily was now walking down the aisle of the train looking for an empty compartment. As she walked, doors behind her opened and many heads (mainly male) stared after her retreating figure. "Is that Evans? Lily Evan?", was heard quite plainly.

Lily went bright red. She walked faster as she heard a few whistles and an exclamation of, "What a babe!" She flung herself into the next compartment she saw compartment and threw herself into a seat.

Which, unfortunately for her was occupied by a startled but very pleased person.

Lily was about to shoot up, out of this persons lap when she felt arms snake around her waist. "Why, hello there. What brought you here?" Lily groaned as she recognized the voice.

She looked around the compartment before answering. Peter Pettigrew had a shocked look on his face, as if this new information hadn't reached his brain yet. Sirius Black was grinning like mad and searching his bag for a camera. Remus Lupin was trying his hardest no to laugh out loud. Tears were leaking out of his eyes.

"Potter, if you get your hands off of me this instant, I will refrain from hexing you into oblivion." She hissed, mortally embarrassed. It didn't help that Erica and Dale stood outside the door, almost collapsing from hysterical laughter.

"Oh, but is it nice to leave before I even know your name?"

Lily stopped. "You don't recognize me?"

James sounded a little startled. "Should I?"

Lily pried his arms off of her and stood up to turn around and face him. "My name, Potter, is Lily Evans. I'm in your grade, house and six of your seven classes. Last year you mocked me mercilessly. You should know me." And with that Lily flounced out of the room and down the corridor, with Dale and Erica fighting for breath behind her.

James sat in his seat, stunned. That was Evans?
