Said La, I hear them.
And the cries came to Tui and La.
Oh! said La. Do you feel their pain?
Said Tui, I feel it.
And the pain came to Tui and La.
Many years passed in shadow.
Said Tui to La: They cry, still.
Said La to Tui: They hurt, still.
Can we not comfort them? said Tui.
We can, said La.
So it was that Tui and La left the world of spirits.
